Meet The Painter
Hi, my name is Zaire Amhara Tafari and I’m a very young but well accomplished multidisciplinary Florida based artist who loves to create. I was born in Tallahassee, Florida but grew up in the beautiful sunshine city called St. Petersburg Florida.
I attended multiple art schools and programs growing up & I’m so grateful my family poured into my talents at a young age. The Savannah College of Art and Design is my dream school and I’m happy to say I got a scholarship to attend their pre-rising star program in the summer of 2018. Next, I graduated from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School in 2019. Then I started college at St. Petersburg College and was in the FUSE program with the University of South Florida to obtain my Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
Since then I had the pleasure of working as a professional teaching artist for years at Painting With A Twist. I even landed a job as an Art Teacher for a private school named Mt. Zion Christian Academy in St. Petersburg Florida.
When the time came I moved to Georgia in 2023 and continued my teaching career at Painting with a Twist in both Douglasville and McDonough Georgia.
