I am a young multidisciplinary Florida based artist who loves to create.

I’ve been extremely creative since my adolescent ages which are when my passion for art grew. Throughout my years of perfecting my craft, I have been involved in programs designed for helping upcoming art students like me. During this time in my life art became more than just an extracurricular requirement. I began to grow a passion which soon became a love that I never expected to find. I was very fortunate to attend a magnet program in middle school that catered to and helped me expand my talent. Then, I got accepted into an excellent arts center in high school. This marked a pivotal moment in my life because I began to take my craft seriously, in hopes of making a career out of my God-given talent. 

I created my art business “Creations By Z” in June of 2018. When one of my friends commissioned me to do a portrait painting. After I posted the painting on social media, I received a lot of positive remarks. From then on, I continued to post my work and started to acquire more and more attention. This inspired me to start a business so that I could pay for my college education while continuing to grow as an artist.  

Creations by Z services include but are not limited to face painting, body painting, portrait paintings, drawings, custom grad caps, custom painted jean jackets and more upon request. I have also done collaborative work with multiple aspiring artists in the Tampa Bay Area. For instance, in 2015 I was involved in painting a mural for the annual SHINE mural festival in St. Petersburg, FL. This was the first time I was able to participate in something for the city and I loved it! Art has allowed me to give back to my community and I look forward to doing more mural work in the future.  

I’m beyond blessed to have chosen my career at such a young age and due to the success of my artwork, I have accomplished many of the goals I have set in place for my business. All the support I get from my family, friends and the city never goes unnoticed. My favorite aspect of what I do is, its therapeutic nature. Art brings me peace and I find joy in knowing the impact art can have on the lives of other people. It is my divine destiny in life to spread love and peace through my work. Art has given my life purpose!
